How Advance Grinding turned a spec search into a quote request.
A machinist does not search for a grinding company. They search for 4140 precision ground bar stock. We built the page for every one of those searches.
The challenge
Advance Grinding is an ISO 9001:2015 certified centerless grinding operation in Bedford Park, serving industrial, medical and aerospace manufacturers. Their buyers are engineers and procurement teams, and they search in extremely specific technical language — by grade, by tolerance, by process. A single page listing capabilities cannot rank for any of it. The company was competing on relationships and referrals while thousands of high-intent searches went to whoever had bothered to publish a page.
What we did
Technical SEO cluster
A dedicated, ranked page for every material and grade — 302, 303, 316, 316LVM, 440C stainless; 4140, 4340, 8620 alloy; Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel; O1, D2, H13 tool steel. Dozens of them. This is the mechanism behind ranking for thousands of keywords.
Service and process pages
Centerless grinding, bar straightening, chamfering, cut-to-length and custom machining, each built to capture its own search.
Digital transformation
Rebuilt the site so that every technical page ends where it should: an RFQ form.
Lead capture
Quote request paths on every page, so a spec lookup converts without a phone call.
The results
Metrics are actual client results. The technical architecture is verifiable at advancegrinding.com.
